Hospitality Ministry
Two teams work collaboratively to create a welcoming environment at St. Patrick. One is the Celtic Circle, which has two goals:
- Create a welcoming environment for new school families through family sponsors, frequent contacts, and social events;
- Plan and execute activities that make people feel good about their decision to send their children to St. Patrick School.
A second team, the Hospitality Ministry Team,
provides hospitality ministry training for all parish leaders and hosts
the monthly New Parishioner Welcome, an orientation and welcoming
experience for families who are considering joining St. Patrick. The
Hospitality Ministry Team also partners new families with established
families and through the use of signage, ensures that the parish
property is easily navigated.
Bereavement Ministry The Bereavement Ministry provides support
to the family of a parishioner who dies. This support usually takes the
form of comfort meals, funeral home visitations, and attendance at
funerals. The Bereavement Ministry collaborates with the Caring
Ministry to extend a gesture of sympathy and support when a
parishioner's relative or friend, who lives outside the parish, dies.
