Father Tom | Reverend Thomas Boland Pastor "Father Tom" Father Thomas Boland was named pastor of St Patrick in June of 2002, after completing a 13-year assignment as pastor at Holy Spirit parish in Louisville. Prior to that he had served at St Therese for 16 years, first as a co-pastor and then as an associate pastor in residence. Prior to becoming a pastor, Father Boland was the Director of the Archdiocesan Family Ministries Office, which he founded. He served as the first President of the National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers (NACFLM) from 1980-1983.He was a member of the U.S. Bishops' Commission for Marriage and Family Life. He has given leadership training and workshop presentations on marriage and family related topics both within the Archdiocese of Louisville and in dioceses around the U.S. A clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), Father Boland served as a staff counselor for eight years at the Family Relations Center in Louisville. | | Father Osborne | Reverend Robert E. Osborne Senior Associate "Father Oz" Father Robert Osborne was born in Louisville, KY. He attended St. Francis of Assisi Parish Elementary School and St. Meinrad Minor and Major Seminary. He was ordained in 1954 and assigned to St. Benedict Parish as Associate Pastor. In 1957, he was assigned to teach at Trinity High School until 1970 and during this time was also a parish minister on weekends serving the parishes of St. Barnabas, Cathedral of the Assumption, St. Martha and Our Lady of Lourdes. Father Oz was awarded a mathematics MTS degree (Master of Teaching of Science) from The Catholic University of America in 1966. He was appointed Pastor of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Lawrence and Our Lady of Lourdes and retired as Pastor in 1999. He is now Senior Associate Pastor at St. Patrick. Father Osborne has also worked in the Marriage Tribunal of the Archdiocese for the last 15+ years. | | Tim Grove | Mr. Tim Grove Parish Life Minister A native of this region, Mr. Grove earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and a Masters in Theological Studies from St. Meinrad School of Theology. Prior to joining the staff of St. Patrick, Mr. Grove served as a staff consultant for the Archdiocese of Louisville's Office of Lifelong Formation and Education. He has also served on the National Advisory Committee on Adult Religious Education for the U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops. He is currently a member of the National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers. He and his wife, Melinda, have five children and live in Jeffersonville. | |  Mary Hynes | Mrs. Mary Hynes M.A. PM, M.A. Ed Director of Lifelong Formation and Education A native of Michigan, Mrs. Hynes received her undergraduate degree and her Masters in Education from the University of Louisville and a Masters in Administration in Pastoral Ministry from Spalding University. Mary taught for 9 years in the Catholic School system in the Archdiocese of Louisville. In 1999, She received the national Amgen Teacher Excellence Award. Mary has served as Director of Lifelong Formation and Education since 2000. | |  Cindy Black | Ms. Cindy Black Youth Ministry A native of New Albany, Ms. Black received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University Southeast. She earned her Youth Ministry Certificate from St. Meinrad School of Theology and the Center for Ministry Development. Cindy brings to St. Patrick over 17 years experience in Youth Ministry at Sacred Heart Parish in Jeffersonville, and Holy Family Parish in New Albany. In addition, Cindy serves as a facilitator for the TEAMS Course at Mount St. Francis. | | Dennis O'Donoghue | Mr. Dennis O'Donoghue Director of Music Ministries Mr. O'Donoghue, a native of Hardinsburg, Kentucky, received his Bachelor of Arts in Music (Vocal Emphasis) from Bellarmine University and a Masters of Music in Organ Performance from the University of Louisville. Mr. O'Donoghue is a member of the American Guild of Organists and the National Association of Pastoral Musicians. | | Nagy Tawfik | Mr. Nagy L. Tawfik Business Manager Mr. Tawfik has earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting, a Master degree in Computer Sciences, and was accredited the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) status. He is a member of the Kentucky Society of Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Tawfik brings to St. Patrick over 30 years of experience in the banking industry, the Public Accounting field, and the management of not-for-profit organization expertise. | |
