Dear Parents,

Welcome to the new school year!  We would like to invite you to help us make this an exciting and successful year for your child.   You will be amazed at just how much your child will grow and learn this year.  We believe that a good parent-teacher relationship is necessary for maximum school success.  We will communicate with you through this web page, e-mail, weekly newsletters, daily progress reports, notes, telephone calls, report cards, and parent-student-teacher conferences.  We encourage you to contact us at any time if you have questions or concerns.  You can reach us at

The most lovely flowers usually have the best gardener . . . and that's YOU!  Staying involved in your child's education is the key to a great year.  One of the things we will be asking you to do is to give us information that will help us to get to know your child better.  Also, throughout the year, we will be sending home ideas for activities that you and your child can do together.  These activities will help your child with skills we are working on at school.

In closing, we would just like to say that we are looking forward to a great year working with your child.  Thank you in advance for your concern and support throughout this school year.  Also, thanks for working with us as a partner in your child's education.
