Mrs. Kellie Hood, born and raised in Louisville, attended St. Bartholomew in grades 1-8 and later graduated from Presentation Academy. Mrs. Hood earned her B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Brescia College in 1998 at which time she began her teaching career. In May of 2005, Mrs. Hood earned her M.S. in Elementary Education from Indiana University. She taught third grade at Holy Family School for ten years and her teaching experience spans from Kindergarten to fourth grade. In 2010, after earning her Rank I in Instructional Leadership from Bellarmine University, Mrs. Hood became the assistant principal at St. Martha School, where she remained for 6 years and served as interim principal during the 2015-2016 school year. Mrs. Hood is committed to Catholic education and it's importance in shaping young lives. She cherishes spending time with both her extended and immediate family which includes her husband David, their children Grace and Nash, and their two dogs Handsome and Griffon.
