As a people of faith, we are called to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Catechesis - teaching the faith - is an essential work of the Church. Beginning in the home and permeating parish life, catechesis attempts to echo the faith in the liturgy, sacraments, words and works. St. Patrick faith formation programs for adults and children present rich opportunities for all parishioners to grow closer to Christ and deepen their spiritual lives, both on an individual basis and as a community of faith. Programs are offered throughout the year for parishioners of all ages.
Adult Formation: Offer a comprehensive and systematic presentation of the core elements of Catholic faith and teachings that engages interests and the needs of adult learners, leading them to a faith that is living, conscious, active, grounded in the persona and message of Jesus Christ and preparing adults to act as disciples of Jesus in their mission to the world.
Youth Ministry: To become and ensure the ongoing existence of an excellent, energetic, and inclusive model of Catholic Youth Ministry that serves junior high, high school and college aged youth in our community.
CAM: To become a model athletic program within the archdiocese by 1) Teaching and reinforcing Catholic values; 2) Encouraging parish – wide involvement; 3) Demonstrating sportsmanship; 4) Forming and equipping coaches as youth ministers.
Children’s Ministries: Creation of a Children’s Faith Formation process that meets the needs of every parish child, preschool age through grade 6, to be formed in Christian discipleship and knowledge of the Catholic faith.
