R. Tim Grove
Director of Lifelong Formation
Tim is Director of Lifelong Formation and Education at St. Patrick and serves in a cluster with the Coordinator of Children’s Faith Formation and the Coordinator of Youth Ministry. Prior to assuming this responsibility in July 2011, Tim served eight years as Parish Life Minister at St. Patrick.
Prior to joining the staff of St. Patrick, Tim served 11 years as a staff consultant for the Archdiocese of Louisville's Office of Lifelong Formation and Education. At its peak, the renewal involved 69 parishes, 1,000 small group leaders, and nearly 10,000 small group participants.
Tim is an active member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Jeffersonville, Indiana, where he serves as a catechist on the RCIA Team. Tim also leads a weekly lectionary-based men’s faith sharing group.
Tim and his wife, Mindy, have been married over 20 years with five children in a blended family -- Morgan, Alanna, Andrew (deceased, 2006), Derek, and Alex Timothy -- and three granddaughters, Emilee, Ryann, and Cora. They live in Jeffersonville, Ind. Their youngest son, Alex Timothy, a graduate of Our Lady of Providence High School, Clarksville, Ind., attends Purdue University.
A native of this region, Tim earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue and a Masters in Theological Studies from St. Meinrad School of Theology. 2014 marks Tim’s 26th year as a Catholic lay ecclesial minister.
